Oakville Real Estate Surrounding the Plush Neighbourhoods – Part 2

A beautiful home is something that everyone prefers dwelling in. However, beauty of a home never remains restricted only within its four walls. Rather, it automatically merges with the appeal and the charm of the surrounding neighbourhood as well.

In the previous post, some of the plush residential neighbourhoods across Oakville Ontario region have been discussed. In continuation to that blog, here we are presenting some intrinsic details on other housing zones surrounding the vast geographical stretch. As such, any premier Oakville real estate company counts on the attractive layout of these housing neighbourhoods, along with that of plush designing of the buildings to attract customers.

Joshua Creek

  • It is a plush neighbourhood across the region that is renowned for large number of luxury homes.
  • This residential zone is located close to the industrial hub of Toronto, as well as the city of Mississauga is also pretty nearer to it.
  • The area started developing in mid 1990s and the earliest settlers moved in during late 1990s. However, a second phase of development started around 2004.
  • Considering its stages of development, Joshua Creek is a newer subdivision that is located south of Dundas.
  • The neighbourhood can be easily accessed through highways 403 and 407, as well as by the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).
  • Residential amenities that the zone offers include excellent education institutes and large shopping plazas.
  • The residential neighbourhood is known for double storey detached homes and luxury bungalows.
  • In fact, Joshua Creek is the ideal place to set up home for people who have to commute to and fro Toronto on a regular basis.

Wedgewood Creek

  • The residential locality of Wedgewood Creek started coming up in the mid 1980s. However, the first batch of residents moved in during the late 1980s.
  • As it is located just west of Joshua Creek, interestingly, residents of Wedgewood Creek enjoy the same advantages in commuting as that of the other neighbourhood.
  • The locality is famous for extensive shopping facilities and tree-lined shady pathways.
  • In a recent trend, many of the existing housing properties in the area are undergoing thorough overhauling to facilitate modern lifestyle for residents.
  • Iroquois Ridge High School is a famous educational institute across the zone that is attended by scores of local teenagers.
  • The locality is mostly dotted with sprawling double storey structures bearing 4 bedroom accommodations, along with double garage space.
  • As far as social life around the region is concerned, Iroquois Ridge Community Centre and Library is a famous landmark.
  • There is a host of residential amenities that the region offers, which include plush indoor swimming pool with water slide, exclusive skate boarding park, children’s playground, extensive tennis courts and soccer field and sprawling public parks, etc.

Considering all the pros and cons – relevant to the existing buildings and surrounding neighbourhoods – a huge number of home buyers are focusing into this region. As such, the local real estate sector is almost on verge of redefining success, for once and for all! There are several other plush neighbourhoods across the region, which will be gradually discussed in the following blog post.
